A Brief Description of Halls
Garden & Weeks Hall is an Imperial College hall located on the North side of Prince's Gardens in South Kensington, a stone's throw from both the college and Hyde Park. The hall actually consists of two buildings - Garden and Weeks.

Garden is comprised of three interconnected Victorian terraced houses. It houses 84 students in a mixture of single, double and triple rooms over five floors and is a listed building. The rooms are variable in size, but relatively large with phones and Internet connections, shared kitchen, bathroom, shower and toilet facilities. Other facilities include our prestigious wood-panelled lounge, a television room with a wide screen TV, video and digital reception, a games room (table-tennis and video games), swimming pool, two study rooms, and washing machines and tumble dryers in the basement.

Weeks is a glass and concrete monolith; it was built in 1959 with funding provided by Vickers Ltd. and houses 70 students in single rooms spread over 11 floors of fun and mayhem. The rooms in Weeks are relatively large and well lit through two generously sized windows. Generally there are 8 rooms per floor sharing a kitchen, bathroom and shower and two toilets. Other far more important features of the hall are of course the TV and common room and the world famous cafe which are the general gathering areas. All rooms have phone and internet connections and there are laundry facilities in the basement.
We hope to see you all soon and best of luck with your studies!
G&W team.
