Welcome to Orient House on behalf of the wardening team!

Orient is located in a superb part of London, forming part of the extensive Chelsea Harbour development. Orient House has a friendly atmosphere, which along with its unique facilities should make your time here enjoyable academically and socially. We, the wardening team, are in residence throughout the year to make sure the hall is a safe and fun place to live, while ensuring a suitable study environment for all our residents. There is a warden, an assistant warden, 2 sub-wardens, and 5 hall seniors (students who have been selected to stay in halls for a second year). We will help you settle in at Orient House and try to sort out any problems you may encounter. Look at our team page to see who we are.

While the wardening team is responsible for the pastoral care and social aspects of student life at Orient House, management of the building is handled by UNITE. Special features of Orient House include individual en suite rooms furnished to a high standard within cluster flats housing at most 5 students. There is also a separate kitchen/lounge area in each flat with television and DVD player. Each room within a flat has its own dedicated high speed internet connection. Access to South Kensington is by bus or tube (both about 35 minutes, door to door), bicycle (15 minutes), or a 40 minute walk.
